Spivo Stick seemed gimicky to me at first, but it’s become my go-to selfie stick when I need one.
Spivo Stick is the coolest selfie stick or GoPro pole I’ve ever seen – It’s a GoPro swivel mount! The Spivo Stick has a rotating mount and a trigger, so you can change your shot from you (like a selfie), to capturing the scene around you, with the click of a button!
This page contains affiliate links to Spivo, which means I earn a commission when you make a purchase. Spivo provided their product to me in exchange for an honest review.
I did a Spivo Stick review on my YouTube channel way back, and even then, I thought it was a cool concept, but wasn’t sure how often I’d use it. Honestly, I don’t use selfie sticks much, but it’s been over a year now, and the Spivo Stick is the only selfie stick I have used since I got it.
And if you’re up for it, I have a Spivo stick discount code! When you use “vidpromom” at checkout, you will save 15% on your order, as long as Spivo isn’t currently running any other promotions.[earnist ref=”spivo-stick” id=”6754″]
Spivo Stick – a GoPro Swivel Mount
I started out with the original 18″ Spivo stick, which was a perfect length, and they also came in 12″ or 26″. Now, the Spivo 360 is the only length available an it’s 20″, which is ideal. You might have seen Spivo in one of Casey Neistat’s vlogs, and if you want to be like Casey, you should grab one!
It comes with a regular GoPro tripod mount, so you don’t have to worry about getting another mount–it will work with any GoPro waterproof case or frame.
Actually, since it has a universal 1/4″-20 tripod screw, you could unscrew the GoPro mount, and use the Spivo stick with a mobile phone tripod mount, or any camera – just make sure your phone is secure when you press that button and the rotating mount swivels around. You can pick up a phone mount on Spivo’s website, too, if you’re not a nerd like me and happen to have one laying around. 😄
Also available from Spivo is a stick floaty, if you’re going to use the Spivo Stick in the water, or I would imagine you might be able to fashion a pool noodle around it.
The Spivo stick doesn’t extend, like a lot of poles do, and that’s to ensure that the one piece body stays intact. It’s tough and durable, it’s lightweight, it’s waterproof, and it’s unlike any GoPro pole of selfie stick I’ve ever seen.
And about that coupon code – you can get a Spivo stick for yourself at spivo.com and use the code “vidpromom” at checkout to save 15% on your order. They do ship internationally, and this would make such a good Christmas gift, even if it’s for yourself. 😄 (note: the coupon code only works when Spivo is not running a special promotion, but either way, you’ll save, so no worries.
