Spivo Stick seemed gimicky to me at first, but it’s become my go-to selfie stick when I need one!

This is the coolest selfie stick or GoPro pole I’ve ever seen – It’s a GoPro swivel mount! The Spivo Stick has a rotating mount and a trigger. So you can change your shot from you (like a selfie) to capturing the scene around you, with the click of a button!

Spivo Stick – a GoPro Swivel Mount

This page contains affiliate links to Spivo, which means I earn a commission when you make a purchase. Spivo provided their product to me in exchange for an honest review.

I did a review on my YouTube channel way back, and even then, I thought it was a cool concept. However, I wasn’t sure how often I’d use it. Honestly, I don’t use selfie sticks much. But it’s been over a year now, and the Spivo Stick is the only selfie stick I have used since I got it.

And if you’re up for it, I have a discount code! When you use “vidpromom” at checkout, you will save 15% on your order. As long as Spivo isn’t currently running any other promotions.

More About This Accessory

I started out with the original 18″ Spivo stick, which was a perfect length, and they also came in 12″ or 26″. Now, the Spivo 360 is the only length available and it’s 20″, which is ideal. You might have seen Spivo in one of Casey Neistat’s vlogs, and if you want to be like Casey, you should grab one!

It comes with a regular GoPro tripod mount, so you don’t have to worry about getting another mount–it will work with any GoPro waterproof case or frame.

Actually, since it has a universal 1/4″-20 tripod screw, you could unscrew the GoPro mount. Then, use the Spivo stick with a mobile phone tripod mount, or any camera! Just make sure your phone is secure when you press that button and the rotating mount swivels around. You can pick up a phone mount on Spivo’s website, too, if you’re not a nerd like me and happen to have one laying around. 😄

Also available from Spivo is a stick floaty if you’re going to use the Spivo Stick in the water, or I would imagine you might be able to fashion a pool noodle around it.

The Spivo Stick doesn’t extend, like a lot of poles do, and that’s to ensure that the one-piece body stays intact. It’s tough and durable, it’s lightweight, it’s waterproof, and it’s unlike any GoPro pole or selfie stick I’ve ever seen.
